Our Vision

By 2026, AEE at Beirut Arab University will be a trailblazer in the energy transition on both a national and Arab world scale. This will be achieved through the recruitment of specialized experts, the provision of studies and research, and the organization of introductory events that highlight the strategic advancements in the renewable energy sector. AEE will also explore comprehensive educational programs by examining the interplay between renewable energy and various engineering disciplines, thereby enhancing the university's scientific and research contributions and increasing its appeal among academic institutions.

Host foundational events focused on renewable energy revolution

  • Launch an annual secondary school competition for innovative projects related to renewable energy and robotics.

  • Provide more than 120 internships for all engineering and scientific disciplines.
  • Build up networks with various engineering companies.
  • Participate in AEE Lebanon summer internship program.

  • Offer Benefits for AEE BAU members.
  • Suggest setting up laboratories for the field of renewable energy.
  • Launch an informative series titled: "Energy Pulse" on AEE BAU social media platforms.

Advance the dissemination of AEE BAU's strategic goals to achieve widespread awareness and engagement across diverse sectors

  • Schedule the annual welcome event for the 3rd week of each fall semester.
  • Organize the annual "BAU Energy Forum and Expo" on March 1.

Transform AEE BAU into a dynamic and influential entity within the realm of social service

  • Collaborate with associations by employing scientific skills in the process of serving the community in all practical aspects.
  • Participate in all the BAU events.
  • Assemble a dedicated team for community service, focused on fostering positive change and leveraging their time and expertise to support those in need.

Foster collaboration with engineering societies across universities throughout Lebanon

  • Forge partnerships with other societies to develop highly productive plans and events that advance AEE's objectives.

Founded in 1977, the Association of Energy Engineers (AEE) is a nonprofit professional society of over 18,000 members in 100 countries. AEE serves energy engineers, facility managers, plant engineers, and other professionals with an interest in energy efficiency, renewable energy, and sustainable development.
